"Oh honey, we tried and we failed" se me repite en mi cabeza, algo así como un pedazo de lírica de alguna canción la cual quizá llevo escuchando por más tiempo del que quisiese. 

Entonces encuentro a Damien Rice de nuevo en mi repertorio, su voz suave y melódica interpretando "The Greatest Bastard". Y sé que, en parte, repito "Oh honey, we tried and we failed" porque mis auditivos sólo han reproducido canciones de despecho, oportunidades malgastadas, momentos que quisieras revivir y jamás volverán. Es irónico, ¿no? ¿Cómo al amar se pierde tanto? Y es que hay tanto para ganar a la misma vez que quizá se nos olvidó celebrar nuestras victorias más a menudo.
